2. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS
Depending on how you contact us, we may process in particular:
– your name,
– email address,
– phone number,
– the number of people planning to stay,
– preferred dates of stay,
– the content of messages sent via the form or in correspondence,
– data needed to make and fulfil a booking,
– data arising from further correspondence about the stay,
– technical data relating to use of the website, such as your IP address, browser and device information, and events recorded in server logs.
We do not ask you to provide special categories of personal data, such as health data, through the contact form.
3. PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
a) responding to an enquiry and taking steps before a booking is made — under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR;
b) making, handling and fulfilling a booking and arrangements relating to the stay — under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR;
c) handling ordinary correspondence not directly related to entering into a contract — under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, namely the controller’s legitimate interest in being able to communicate with people interested in FISKTRIP;
d) establishing, pursuing or defending potential claims — under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR;
e) complying with legal obligations, where applicable — under Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR;
f) sending newsletters and information about available dates, offers and FISKTRIP news — only to people who have freely consented, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and the applicable rules on electronic communications.
4. NEWSLETTERS AND MARKETING INFORMATION
Signing up for newsletters and marketing information is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of sending an enquiry or making a booking.
Marketing messages may include, in particular, information about:
– available dates,
– FISKTRIP offers,
– new options for stays,
– news relating to FISKTRIP.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Every marketing message will contain an easily accessible way to unsubscribe, in particular an “Unsubscribe” link.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
After you unsubscribe, your data will no longer be used to send marketing. The controller may retain the minimum information needed to demonstrate that consent was given or withdrawn and to ensure that marketing messages are not sent to that address again without an appropriate legal basis.
5. HOW LONG WE KEEP DATA
We retain enquiries that do not result in a booking for a maximum of 1 month after correspondence has ended.
We retain data relating to a confirmed booking until the booking has been fulfilled, and then for the period necessary to establish, pursue or defend potential claims and to comply with legal obligations, where applicable.
We process data used for newsletters and marketing information until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe, while allowing for retention of the minimum information needed to document consent or its withdrawal.
Technical data and logs may be retained for the period necessary to ensure security, proper operation of the website and troubleshooting, in accordance with the configuration and policies of the infrastructure provider.
6. RECIPIENTS OF DATA
Data is not shared with other people for their own marketing purposes.
To the extent necessary for the website and email to operate, data may be processed by providers of technical services to the controller, in particular the hosting and email provider OVHcloud.
Data may also be disclosed to entities or authorities entitled to receive it under applicable law.
Apart from providers technically necessary for the operation of the website and email, only the controller currently has access to contact form messages and booking data.
7. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EEA
FISKTRIP uses infrastructure services provided by OVHcloud.
The scope and location of data processing by the infrastructure provider depend on the services used and their configuration. If the provision of these services involves processing outside the European Economic Area, the safeguards provided for by the GDPR are applied where required.
The controller does not independently transfer guests’ data to entities outside the EEA for marketing purposes.
8. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on the legal basis and circumstances of processing, you have the right to:
– access your data,
– have your data corrected,
– have your data erased,
– restrict processing,
– data portability, where applicable,
– object to processing based on legitimate interests,
– withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
9. PROVIDING DATA IS VOLUNTARY
Providing data in the form is voluntary, but the fields marked as required must be completed so that we can respond to your enquiry.
When making a booking, providing the data necessary to handle it is required for the booking to be made and fulfilled.
Consent to newsletters or other marketing messages is entirely voluntary and does not affect your ability to send an enquiry or make a booking.
10. AUTOMATED DECISIONS AND PROFILING
Users’ data is not used to make decisions based solely on automated processing that would produce legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affect them.
FISKTRIP does not profile users on the basis of contact form data.
11. COOKIES AND TECHNICAL DATA
The website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for its proper and secure operation.
Technologies necessary for the service to operate may be used to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If the website introduces analytics, marketing or other cookies or similar technologies that are not necessary to provide the service requested by the user, they will only be activated after the required user consent has been obtained.
Users may also manage cookies through their browser settings.
12. SECURITY
The controller uses appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection.
13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the way the website operates, the services used, the scope of data processing or applicable laws change.
The current version of the policy will be available on the FISKTRIP website.
