June can bring periods with 24 hours of sunshine. In July, the nights remain very light.
04 / THE BASE
200 years of history. Modern comfort.
The island covers around 30 ha. FISKTRIP uses an area of around 1.5 ha. The base does not occupy the whole island.
Large cabin
Around 65 m² / up to 4 guests
- Full bathroom with a rainfall shower and toilet
- Washing machine and tumble dryer
- Oven, 4-zone induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kitchenware and filter coffee maker
- 2 single beds downstairs and 2 on the mezzanine
- Dining table for 6, sofa and fireplace
The TV visible in some photos is not included in the cabin equipment.
Small cabin
Up to 2 guests / one room + bathroom
- Compact kitchen and terrace
- Bathroom with a rainfall shower and washbasin
- No toilet inside the small cabin. Guests can use the toilet in the large cabin or the outdoor toilet.
- 1 single bed and a corner sofa bed
- Interior height around 2 m

At the base: a barbecue and a cast-iron cooking pot. Optional bed linen and towels: PLN 50 / person.
The cabins are around 160 m from the boats. The buildings are around 200 years old. The interiors were renovated in May 2024. Guests may clean the cabins themselves. Optional cleaning costs PLN 300 for the large cabin and PLN 100 for the small cabin.
05 / BOATS AND EQUIPMENT
Three boats. The same standard.
- 3 identical Brema 435 boats
- 3 identical Suzuki 6 HP engines
- Maximum 2 anglers per boat
- A full 12 l tank to start with
- Landing net and bait bucket for each boat
The boats, engines and electronics were bought new in 2024. A group of five receives two boats as standard. Each boat accommodates a maximum of two anglers. An optional third boat costs an additional PLN 1000 per week, subject to availability. It requires advance confirmation and is not guaranteed.
Optional: Garmin STRIKER Vivid 9″ — PLN 300 / week; bow-mounted motor — PLN 600 / week. 3 fish finders available, with side-scanning sonar and lake maps, plus a 20 Ah AGM battery and charger for each fish finder.
06 / THE FISHING
A lake and a river. One base.
The lake connects directly to a large lowland river. You can reach it in the same Brema, with no need to transport the boat by road.
Pike / 119 cm
Guest record. Dano has personally caught over 300 pike measuring at least 100 cm on the FISKTRIP waters.
Zander / around 98 cm
The largest known fish. Big zander are rare and unpredictable.
Perch / 49 cm
Known record. Typical fish measure 27–32 cm.
The river: average depth around 2 m. Powerful pike, large perch and large ide.

Local orientation, basic advice and help getting started are included at no extra cost.

- Maximum 6 guests at a time
- Bringing your own boat does not reduce the price
- Security deposit of PLN 1000 for the whole group, payable on arrival and refunded on departure
- 50% non-refundable booking deposit
- Remaining 50% due two months before arrival

We do not publish an availability calendar. We check each requested date individually.
Where exactly is the base?
We share the exact location before you book. The base is on an island in northern Sweden.
How do we get to the island?
Cars stay at the crossing point. We collect guests by boat or a purpose-built raft. We transport luggage around 160 m by quad bike and trailer.
What about parking?
In the past, parking has been free and safe.
Where can we shop?
The nearest small town is around a 3-minute drive away. It has ICA, Coop, Systembolaget, a petrol station, restaurants and cafés.
Are meals provided?
No. Guests prepare their own meals. Both cabins have kitchens, and the base also has a barbecue and a cast-iron cooking pot.
Is there internet access?
There is no Wi-Fi. Mobile coverage is usually strong, with 5G available, but it can vary.
What fishing tackle should I bring?
Bring your own rods, lures, bait and other fishing tackle.
Can I bring a dog or a child?
Dogs are welcome. Children may come with a guardian. We have not set a minimum age.
What are the C&R rules at FISKTRIP?
We release zander measuring 75 cm and over, pike 80 cm and over, and perch 40 cm and over.
How many boats does a group of five receive?
A group of five receives two boats as standard. Each boat accommodates a maximum of two anglers. An optional third boat costs an additional PLN 1000 per week, subject to availability. It requires advance confirmation and is not guaranteed.
How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit is PLN 1000 for the whole group, not per person or per cabin. It is payable on arrival and refunded on departure.
